In his role as General Manager, Yahoo! Canada Kerry Munro is responsible for the company’s overall operation and strategic growth. Since joining the company in 2005 he has significantly increased the size and influence of Yahoo!'s presence in Canada by expanding the operational staff, increasing revenue and making Yahoo! Canada one of the most successful Yahoo! business units worldwide. His previous experience includes both corporate and entrepreneurial leadership positions, most recently as a Senior Director at Bell Canada and prior to that as founder and President of KBM Marketing which provided market analysis and business unit turnaround strategy for numerous Canadian corporations. Mr. Munro is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has an MBA from Queen’s University.   Paul Barter is Vice President Strategy for technology services firm T4G Limited. At T4G he is responsible for strategic direction with a focus on new business opportunities enabled by technological change. Paul has over 25 years experience in the IT product and services sector with firms such as Compaq, General Electric and T4G. In addition to his work at T4G Paul is an adjunct professor of Technology Strategy and E-Commerce Marketing at the Schulich School of Business at York University. Paul has also done extensive research for the nGenera Innovation Network (formerly New Paradigm) where his projects have included “Rethinking Business Intelligence”, “Platforms for Innovation” and “Marketing 2.0: Beyond Pops and Clicks”. Paul studied Engineering and Economics at the undergraduate level and holds an MBA from the Kellogg Schulich Executive MBA program.

He started his company, EMJ Data Systems, from the trunk of his car after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Systems Design Engineering. From these modest beginnings, Estill grew EMJ to a staff of over 300 people, with $350 million in annual sales.
In 2004, Jim Estill sold EMJ to SYNNEX and became the CEO of SYNNEX Canada. SYNNEX Canada sales are almost $2 billion
Estill’s involvement includes being a member of the RIM (Research in Motion) board since they went public.
Jim attributes much of his economic achievements to his success of managing time. He has led numerous Time Leadership workshops, and has produced a Time Leadership CD. His CEO blog (jimestill.com) often deals with issues of Time Leadership and effective goal-setting.

Rene Vezina is one of LES AFFAIRES’ columnist and blogger. This weekly newpaper is devoted to business and economic issues and reaches more than 400 000 readers.
Rene Vezina started his career 30 years ago as a reporter for the CBC in the Gaspe region, in eastern Quebec. He then joined the national network in Montreal, before leaving to work for private video companies shooting documentaries around the world.
Back in Montreal in the 90’s, he became host of a weekly newsmagazine on the TVA television network, FINANCES. In the year 2000, he joined Transcontinental Medias and its publishing business, being named editor-in-chief of COMMERCE magazine, before being called to its the sister publication, LES AFFAIRES.
Meanwhile, he still acts as a guest commentator on the radio, twice a day, at 98,5 FM in Montreal. He is also regularly on air at Radio-Canada and he just published an essay, « Comment parler aux médias », published by Transcontinental.
He got his diploma in journalism from Laval University, in Quebec city, in 1976.

L’entreprise emploie actuellement plus de 2000 employés dans ses studios de Montréal et de Québec et a pour objectif d’embaucher 1000 créateurs supplémentaires d’ici 2013 pour atteindre le cap des 3000 employés.
M. Baillet supervise l’ensemble des services de ressources humaines de l’entreprise, position stratégique à l’atteinte des ambitieux objectifs de croissance d’Ubisoft. Parmi les différents dossiers menés de front par M. Baillet, notons le développement organisationnel, la rémunération et les avantages sociaux, le recrutement, la réaffectation de projet et la mobilité internationale, la formation interne, le Campus Ubisoft ainsi que les communications internes.
Francis Baillet cumule plus d’une quinzaine d’années d’expérience en direction des ressources humaines. Avant de se joindre à Ubisoft, il occupait le poste de vice-président, ressources humaines et services corporatifs chez Bell Solutions d’affaires (anciennement Technologies Nexxlink). Il a auparavant été directeur, rémunération globale pour l’Amérique du nord chez Rexel, directeur, avantages sociaux chez Westburne et consultant chez Towers Perrin.

  Bernard Anzarouth joined CSI in 1995. He works closely with our Vertical Market Software businesses to identify and pursue opportunities for platform and tuck-in acquisitions and to establish licensing or distribution arrangements. Before joining CSI, Mr. Anzarouth was AVP Business Development for Ascom Inc., a Swiss-based technology corporation from 1993 to 1994. Prior to that Mr. Anzarouth held various positions with IBM. Mr. Anzarouth holds a B.Eng. in Electrical/Computer Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD).
 
  Au cours de sa carrière chez PG Govern, Daniel Desaulniers s’est vu attribuer des tâches telles que : l’entière responsabilité de la gestion de l’entreprise, la supervision de l’équipe de direction, la mise en place du plan stratégique, la supervision des opérations comptables et financières de l’entreprise, la planification, la négociation et la réalisation d’acquisitions d’entreprises. Également la négociation et la réalisation de financements, la négociation et réalisation de rachat d’actionnaires, la révision des processus internes et réalisation des plans d’intégration des entreprises acquises, en plus de participer au développement du plan stratégique de l’entreprise. Il a également été administrateur de la société.
